so here's the deal:

i say, "so how many people do you think you're going to invite mom?:

she says, "i don't know. i can never tell. it may be 10. it may be 50.
i'll tell you later"

me, "mom, i need to know now so that if there are any changes the
venue needs to know!"

her reply, "well tough cookie cause i don't know...hmmph"
